During the period from 07.22.2013-29.07.13, Kodar Engineering Team successfully completed the installation of weather radar, the latest generation, with accompanying equipment (protective dome around the radar-work and waveguide) in an existing building (tower). Installed radar is a product of well-known manufacturing company SELEX Gematronik from the METEOR series with dual polarization and will be used for the purposes of the Meteorological Department to enable short-term prognosis and classification of meteorological phenomena in the whole of southern Serbia.
